Minuses: Umm, the hair could have turned out a bit better at least. And more visible clean shades for the coat. Too hasty linearting(I'll partly blame it to the bumpy busride, which messed the coat a bit).

Hi!
The first time I've read the Gunsmith Cats was when I was 13 years or so, and I must admit that back then I found it rather plain and boring - no pretty bishie-guys, whatsoever and too much guns and cars. Not to mention that I nowadays understand English at a whole new level(Yo I'm a Finn), so the finer points of the plots were always left as mysteries.
Yeah, but now at the age of seventeen(soon 18), I'm in looo~ve. Ooh. :'3
Books 1-9 from the library, and then GSC Burst 1-3 from a bookstore, and I'm meaning to buy the 'Revised'-editions as well.
And I know that Burst vol4 has been out for some time in Japan - Dark Horse, work your translating magic, please! *__*

Dear diary...
I decided to treat myself and bought Riding Bean on DVD. Last night I sat down to watch it and was overwhelmed at how nostalgic I suddenly felt. I hadn't watched it in twelve years and I barely remembered any of what happened. The story was better than I'd remembered and I loved the attention to detail, especially in the use of real Chicago locations. The music was better than I'd remembered too. It's too bad we never got any more Bean Bandit anime titles... I like Bean and it's entertaining to watch that tough SOB pull off his superhuman feats. He's not such a bad guy either. :D
Oh yeah, and Rally as a blonde. I'd forgotten that, too. I prefer her with her darker skin and hair, but the touches of the later Rally in this early Rally were very welcome (such as the great trick she played on the thug in the parking garage) and her using a scalding frying pan to wake Bean up was hilarious. Good times.
I've ordered my copy of volume one of Gunsmith Cats Burst. Those of you who have already read it, what do you think? How does it stand up to the earlier Gunsmith Cats stories?

I've heard of a article/ interview with Kenichi Sonoda in which he confirmed that yes, she is, but I've never been able to find it.
Of course considering Rally's experiences with Goldie, I'f be scared of Lesbians! lol

I recently rewatched the anime for the first time in a long time. I remembered the events of part 1 pretty well, but I'd forgotten a lot of part 2 and almost all of part 3 (of course, I'd only seen part 3 once). But one thing I notice with a lot of anime titles based on manga is the prominence of characters that never appeared in the manga, in this case characters like Bill Collins and Radinov.
I have a question for my fellow Gunsmith Cats fans... how do you feel Radinov stacks up as a villain, especially when compared alongside such villains as Goldie, Gray and Borgnine? Does she measure up?

Gunsmith Cats Burst, Re-Release in 2007 (2006-05-31 14:29:39)
Gunsmith Cats Burst will be issued in the first half of 2007, according to Dark Horse's Carl Horn. They will also re-release the original Gunsmith Cats unflipped with "80 pages of additional material not previously available in English."
I can't wait for this!! And damn them for re-releasing the original with new material. Gotta get it all again it seems.

Since there's greater demand for anime soundtracks in the U.S. now, it'd really be nice if someone would release a Gunsmith Cats CD.

Hello everyone, just joined. I love this series, even though I've only seen the 3 episodes. Why didn't this anime ever catch on? Best intro ever though, if they do remake it or decide to continue it the intro better stay. Anyway I am looking forward to reading the manga.
If you have the intro song, I would really be thankful if you shared it, thanks :)
